RCMRD presented the inception report on Malawi 2018 Population Census Technical Support and Provision of Satellite Imagery Project to the Commissioner of Malawi National Statistics Office (NSO), Ms. Mercy Kanyuka in Zomba, Malawi. The project involves the production of Enumeration Area Maps and provision of very high resolution

satellite images covering the whole of Malawi. It also involves capacity building for the NSO staff. The meeting was attended by RCMRD Director General, Director of Technical Services and Senior Technical Staff. Also during the meeting, RCMRD presented to NSO very high resolution satellite imagery of 0.5m resolution covering the entire country.
