Announcing the Launch of SERVIR E&SA Project Website
Today at #SAGE2017, the SERVIR Global family meeting in Bilbao, Spain joined colleagues from SERVIR Eastern and Southern Africa (SERVIR-E&SA) hub based at Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) to launch their new sub-site that can be accessed on this link http://servir.rcmrd.org/
The updated micro-site includes changes to navigation, with dropdown menus for both mobile and desktop versions. We’ve also improved the structure of our content, so you’ll get more from a quick read. There’s a whole host of smaller but impactful changes, all to make your experience of the SERVIR site much better for you.
“When we started the project we had big ideas, from updating SERVIR-E&SA messaging to helping users get from one place to the next without skipping our most important content,” said Dr. Robinson Mugo, the SERVIR –E&SA Chief of Party and Project Manager.
The Geospatial Information Technology Lead and the Communications Lead said of this about site, “Our solution was to split our site content into two places”. We now have ‘Service areas’ and ‘Quick Info - if you’d like to know more about what we do, then our Service areas pages can help. In the ‘quick info’ section, we’re highlighting the cross cutting issues that are being done to ensure the services are well implemented
We hope you like the changes, and if you have any feedback, please let us know on
