RCMRD is conducting a five-day Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Technologies for Precise Applications training for Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) staff from 6-10th June, 2016 at its premises in Nairobi, Kenya. The purpose of this training is to provide knowledge and technical skills in GNSS technologies for precise
applications including engineering, construction and cadastral. The training will focus on GNSS technologies; Establishment of Continuously Operating GNSS Reference Systems (CORS), and National Real Time GNSS Networks (NRTN); GNSS Augmentation Systems and Availability in Africa; Reference systems, AFREF, datum and Coordinate systems; and Practical field works on Static GNSS surveys RTK using Base/Rover, RTK using CORS; Practical GNSS data post processing and reporting using commercial software.
