Research & Development plays a very important role in the realization of RCMRD mission and vision, Research & Development contributes to sustainability of services and projects undertaken by RCMRD. Additionally, Research & Development offers a platform for creativity and innovation to flourish within RCMRD. Innovative breakthroughs in geospatial domain have happened because of painstaking efforts of the Research & Development function and therefore, RCMRD will continue to foster Research and Development. In order to fully operationalize Research & Development, RCMRD has established a Research & Development ADVISORY team mandated to conduct research and development, and also provide advisory services in regards to projects conducted by RCMRD.
