10th AfriGEO Symposium

Registration is now open for the 10th AfriGEO Symposium, taking place from 5–8 October 2026 in Abuja, Nigeria.

Organized by Nigeria’s National Space Research & Development Agency (NASRDA) and the AfriGEO Secretariat, under the theme "Earth Observations for a Resilient Africa", this landmark event will convene policymakers, scientists, practitioners, and private sector leaders to drive forward Africa's Earth observation agenda.

The Symposium will advance the four pillars of the AfriGEO Implementation Plan 2026–2036:

🔹 Strengthening technical capacity 
🔹 Promoting open and interoperable data systems 
🔹 Scaling operational Earth observation services 
🔹 Integrating Earth intelligence into policy and decision-making
